Restaurant Bu Yi Bao

Last night, me and Kit decided to had our dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Kepong Prima (super busy and crowded area). The restaurant is called Bu Yi Bao.
We had visited this restaurant once quite long ago, around mid of last year. But during that time I didn't really taste the food well as I ate very little.

Inside the restaurant..

It is just a normal Chinese restaurant that offer different kind of cooking - chicken, pork, fish, prawn, abalone vegetables, tofu and noodles. However, this restaurant is famous and well known for offering a wide variety of Soup. Even the logo of this restaurant is a pot of soup!!

The Menu...

This Chinese restaurant is situated along the shop lots at Kepong prima. Is super hard for me to describe its exact location, so I decided to give u the address that I manage to capture from its Menu.

The address...

The main specialty of this restaurant that attract so many customer is the wide range of soup they offer the menu. There are many kinds of herb soup for different purpose ; nourishment, revitalised energy, kids, men and women. I had to admit that the soup is quite good!..

After some time of 'reading' the menu, we decided to order ; Spare pork ribs with sweet and sour sauce, Stewed Hua Shan Taufu (own specialty), Hong Kong Choy Sam with garlic, a plate of fried rice, a bowl of Cordyceps and scallop nourishing soup and a glass of soy bean milk each.

My drinks...

The soup is really good. There are different kinds of herbs (beside cordyceps), black skinned chicken breast, and scallop in the soup. It certainly been cooked for quite some time and the taste of the herbs had certainly bring lots of flavour to the soup. It is very refreshing and nice to drink while it is still hot!

Cordyceps & Scallop nourishing soup.
The spare ribs with sweet and sour sauce is also very good. The pork ribs was fried and lightly cook again with the sweet and sour sauce.. I like this dish too as the pork ribs was fried till crispy and the sauce tasted good !

Spare Rib

Next was the Stewed Hua Shan Taufu. It was OK, the tofu was very soft and smooth. But i don't like the sauce of it, kind a lot of MSG and starch.

Stewed Hua Shan Taufu

The Hong Kong Choy Sam with garlic is nice. The choy sam is very fresh and its still 'crunchy' when i bite it.. nice.. They also put some small anchovies on top of the vegetables. But the small anchovies is soooo SALTY!! It might taste good with rice, but it certainly makes me feel very thirsty!!

The fried rice is also finished with lots of small anchovies spread on top of the rice. The rice tasted not too bad.. But again the anchovies is too salty, also the cook put a lot of MSG on the fried rice. I don't quite like to eat too much MSG as its make

The fried rice with small anchovies...

The service and environment of the restaurant is like the normal Chinese restaurant..
However after our we finish most of our food, the restaurant do give a small piece of Gui Ling Gou each, as desert. It is free...
